Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design and schematic design phases for commercial and residential projects, ensuring creative excellence and adherence to client vision.
- Prepare and manage detailed construction documents (CDs) and technical drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project integrity from concept through construction administration.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with municipal authorities to ensure full compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct research on building materials, sustainability practices, and emerging architectural trends to inform project development.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Present design concepts and progress reports to clients and stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (M.Arch or B.Arch) required; licensure (AIA) is a plus but not mandatory for this senior role.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in architectural design, preferably within a firm specializing in sustainable or high-density urban projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (modeling and documentation) and AutoCAD; strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) are essential.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and budgets.
- Strong understanding of LEED certification processes and sustainable building standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
