As a key member of our design team, you will lead high-profile residential and commercial projects, collaborating closely with clients to translate their visions into reality. You will be responsible for overseeing design development, technical documentation, and construction administration, ensuring our standards of excellence are met on every site.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process, including conceptualization, schematic design, and construction documentation.
- Develop detailed designs, 3D renderings, and technical drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino.
- Coordinate closely with interior design consultants to ensure cohesive spatial planning and material selection.
- Conduct site visits and manage contractor relationships during the construction administration phase.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct regular design reviews to maintain high creative standards.
- Ensure all projects comply with local NYC building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability regulations (LEED principles).
Qualifications
- Professional License (AIA) required; Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in high-end residential or commercial architecture.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit), 3D modeling (SketchUp/Rhino), and CAD.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency and creative design capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
