Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants during all project phases
- Mentor junior architects and interns in design execution and technical detailing
- Conduct client presentations and manage project milestones/budgets
- Develop Revit/BIM standards and implement digital fabrication workflows
- Ensure compliance with ICC, ADA, and local building codes
- Research emerging materials and construction methodologies for innovation
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture License (NCARB required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential architecture
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of Chicago zoning regulations and permitting processes
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative design solutions and technical execution
- Excellent communication skills and client relationship management abilities
