Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and sustainability specialists
- Manage client relationships and project timelines from concept to completion
- Mentor junior architects through design reviews and technical guidance
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for complex urban sites
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code and LEED certification standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-rise or commercial architecture
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Enscape for BIM/VDC workflows
- NYS Architect License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in complex building systems and material innovation
- Experience leading projects through NYC DOB review processes
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and passive house strategies
