Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune complex deep learning models, including Transformers and GANs, using modern frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Infrastructure: Build and optimize MLOps pipelines to ensure seamless model deployment, monitoring, and retraining on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Data Strategy: Collaborate with data engineers to curate high-quality datasets and implement data augmentation strategies to improve model robustness.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest academic papers and industry trends to integrate novel techniques into our production stack.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize inference latency and resource utilization to handle high-throughput traffic without compromising accuracy.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conducting rigorous code reviews and unit testing.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred).
- Mathematics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving ambiguous problems and shipping products from concept to production.
