Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for executive review.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist with SOX compliance requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Review journal entries and ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
