Role Overview
Our ideal candidate is a proactive leader who takes ownership of financial processes and mentors junior team members. You will bridge the gap between data and strategy, ensuring our stakeholders have the insights they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts with high precision.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual audits and tax filings.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
