Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, variance analyses, and budget projections for executive leadership.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve complex discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and billing cycles.
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
