Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and reported on time.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements, providing insights to management.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal company policies and procedures.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify areas for process improvement.
- Support external audit requirements by providing requested documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
