As a Senior Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that our books are accurate and our reporting is timely.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial data and identifying discrepancies.
- Assist external auditors during quarterly and annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify financial risks and improve internal controls.
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for budget management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in advanced accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
