What You’ll Do:
• Oversee the monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict accordance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger activities and perform detailed account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax documentation.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and ensure they are in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate, timely, and properly supported.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and budgets, providing insights to management.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and invoices are paid timely.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of US tax regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
