Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare budgets and forecasts while monitoring variances and performance metrics
- Mentor junior accounting staff and enhance team efficiency through process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidacy required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in GAAP standards and financial reporting regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience leading audit processes and managing compliance requirements
