Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in strict compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to identify variances.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax preparation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Streamline financial workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA/MAcc) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite experience is a strong plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
