Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and inter-company eliminations.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and supporting schedules.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
