Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and compliant with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and perform variance analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
- Lead the monthly AP/AR reconciliation process and audit preparations.
- Streamline accounting workflows by implementing new software tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
