Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and submitted on time.
- Prepare complex financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, intercompany transactions, and bank accounts.
- Lead external audit preparations and coordinate with internal and external auditors to resolve findings.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and document internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to analyze variances and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Active CPA certification or CPA candidate status.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP or Oracle.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
