Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or public accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial findings to stakeholders.
