As our Senior Accountant, you'll become the financial backbone for our diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and delivering actionable insights. You'll work directly with CFOs and founders, transforming complex financial data into strategic decisions that propel businesses forward.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation and analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Lead internal control implementation and process optimization initiatives
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals for seamless compliance
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining quality control across all deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to translate complex financial concepts
