Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining accurate client documentation
- Collaborate with tax and audit teams to resolve complex accounting issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in financial reporting and compliance management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory changes (e.g., ASC 606)
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
