Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage general ledger operations, reconciliations, and complex accounting entries
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and reporting
