Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide support for external auditors during annual examinations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
