Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead internal control audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Develop financial models for strategic initiatives and investment opportunities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize team workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience leading month-end closes and internal audits
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Experience implementing ERP systems and process optimization
