Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a focus on variance analysis and forecasting accuracy.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
- Review and reconcile intercompany accounts and general ledger discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
