Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with GAAP compliance
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Prepare and present detailed financial statements to stakeholders
- Lead internal audit coordination and external reporting requirements
- Implement and optimize financial controls and processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
