Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security infrastructure across cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation activities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor security operations center alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Research emerging threats and propose defensive countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network security and threat detection
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services
- Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture principles
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate technical risks to stakeholders
