Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Manage complex life-support equipment, including ventilators and hemodialysis machines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical periods.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Participate in emergency response codes and trauma interventions as required.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively under high-pressure scenarios.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
