Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions continuously, responding immediately to any changes in status.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Participate in code blue emergencies and critical response teams.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New York State Department of Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
