Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous therapies with precision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and respiratory therapists to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Operate and monitor life-support systems and advanced clinical equipment.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical periods.
- Maintain sterile environments and follow strict infection control protocols.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification preferred but not required.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, collaborative hospital environment.
