Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and interpret sophisticated life-support equipment, including ventilators and bedside monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute complex patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical care transitions.
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment in accordance with hospital safety protocols.
- Rapidly respond to medical emergencies and code situations with precision and calm.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity medical setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
