We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the stabilization and recovery of our most acute patients, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality nursing intervention.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, neurological status, and cardiac rhythms continuously.
- Manage complex ventilator settings and hemodynamic monitoring equipment with precision.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and specialists to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Administer critical medications and titrate intravenous infusions safely.
- Provide emotional support and clear, empathetic communication to patients and their families.
- Maintain meticulous electronic medical records in accordance with hospital and state regulations.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and nursing education programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or Critical Care experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic or Cerner.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to act decisively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
