Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and record patient conditions with precision, reporting critical changes to physicians immediately.
- Administer complex medications, intravenous fluids, and advanced life-support treatments.
- Operate and interpret data from ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other advanced bedside technology.
- Maintain precise electronic health records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to develop and refine individualized care plans.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students in clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
