Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with high precision.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous therapies according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and surgeons to develop personalized care plans.
- Operate and interpret data from critical care equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical recovery phases.
- Maintain sterile environments and strictly adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient progress in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to act decisively in emergency situations.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to collaborative patient care.
- Proficiency with modern EHR software and medical monitoring technology.
