Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care to patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using cutting-edge technology
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment protocols and preventive care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in rapid response team activations during emergencies
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois (required)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in an acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (maintained)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system and critical care monitoring equipment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
