Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care or emergency room experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree accepted.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
