Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care to post-cardiac surgery patients in 24-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data using advanced monitoring systems
- Administer vasoactive medications and manage complex drips
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for rapid response interventions
- Document patient care in Epic EHR with 99% accuracy
- Mentor new nurses through our clinical ladder program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for sepsis protocols
Qualifications
- Current NY RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience with cardiac focus
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking skills in high-acuity scenarios
- Experience with rapid response teams
- Excellent communication skills for family education
