Responsibilities
- Provide advanced patient assessment and critical care interventions in ICU settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data, responding promptly to changes
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
