Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining sterile protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery and transition planning
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid New York State RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience with ACLS/BLS certification
- Proficiency in critical care monitoring equipment (ventilators, hemodynamic monitors)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for critically ill patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
