Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized critical care to ICU patients with advanced monitoring and intervention protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations and documentation
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data using advanced telemetry and diagnostic equipment
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery and long-term care management
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
- Participate in rapid response team activations and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree with 2+ years ICU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
