Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care monitoring for post-cardiac surgery and stroke patients
- Administer specialized medications and manage complex IV therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on rapid response interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient assessments
- Lead family education sessions during critical care transitions
- Mentor junior nurses in evidence-based practice protocols
Qualifications
- BSN or higher in Nursing from accredited institution
- Current NY RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- 3+ years ICU or critical care experience
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and critical care monitoring systems
- Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
