Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and prioritize patient conditions in high-pressure emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue emergencies
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current NY RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Trauma Nurse Certification (TNCC) preferred
