Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in critical emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop patient care plans
- Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR system
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and JCAHO standards
- Participate in trauma response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Illinois
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
