- Secure consistent top-tier media placements in national and trade publications.
- Manage end-to-end media relations, including press releases, pitch decks, and media kits.
- Oversee crisis communication protocols and brand reputation management.
- Coordinate high-impact press events, product launches, and virtual briefings.
- Provide strategic counsel to C-suite executives on media presence and thought leadership.
- Monitor media trends and analyze performance metrics to optimize campaign efficacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of agency or in-house PR experience with a proven track record of successful media campaigns.
- Deep existing relationships with national business and tech journalists.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for storytelling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools such as Cision, Meltwater, or Muck Rack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to brand reputation.
