- Secure high-tier media placements in top-tier national and industry-specific publications.
- Manage end-to-end media relations, including proactive pitching and reactive issues management.
- Craft compelling press releases, thought leadership articles, and executive briefing documents.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in agency or in-house corporate communications roles.
- Proven track record of securing placements in major media outlets (WSJ, NYT, TechCrunch, etc.).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a flair for narrative storytelling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple high-priority projects.
- Strong understanding of digital PR, social media integration, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in media monitoring platforms like Cision, Muck Rack, or Meltwater.
