Responsibilities
- Lead the conception, design, and execution of advanced R&D projects within the hardware architecture division.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including physicists, software engineers, and product managers to translate theoretical models into physical prototypes.
- Oversee the prototyping phase, conducting rigorous testing, and iterating on designs based on empirical data and performance metrics.
- Prepare and present technical roadmaps, white papers, and research findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop the technical skills of junior engineers and R&D scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Identify emerging technologies and market trends to ensure QuantumCore remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in R&D, hardware engineering, or semiconductor development.
- Proven track record of leading research initiatives and bringing products from concept to market.
- Expertise in circuit design, simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, SPICE), and fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
