Responsibilities
- Architect and implement sophisticated machine learning models to predict molecular interactions and optimize lead compounds.
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints, bridging the gap between dry-lab simulations and wet-lab validation.
- Published original research in high-impact journals and represent the company at international scientific conferences.
- Mentor senior and staff scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rigorous scientific methodology.
- Manage intellectual property portfolios by documenting novel discoveries and filing patent applications.
- Direct the strategic roadmap for internal R&D platforms to ensure competitive advantage in the biotech market.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioengineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field from a top-tier institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in a dedicated R&D environment.
- Proven track record of deploying deep learning architectures (CNNs, Transformers, GNNs) within a biological context.
- Expertise in Python, C++, and specialized frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of structural biology, genomics, and proteomics.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing high-performance technical teams.
