Responsibilities
- Lead and direct cutting-edge research initiatives in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML algorithms and models, addressing complex, open-ended problems with novel solutions.
- Publish and present research findings at top-tier conferences and in peer-reviewed journals, enhancing Aetheria Labs' global thought leadership.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research prototypes into robust, scalable production systems.
- Evaluate and integrate new AI/ML technologies and methodologies, ensuring our research and development remain at the forefront of the field.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of Aetheria Labs' AI roadmap, identifying key areas for innovation and impact.
- Drive patent applications and intellectual property development based on novel research outcomes.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of industry experience in AI/ML research and development, with a proven track record of significant contributions.
- Expertise in multiple machine learning paradigms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, generative models).
- Deep proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using major ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
- Strong publication record in leading AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI) or journals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage timelines, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced research environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a creative approach to scientific inquiry.
