Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations of 25+ oncology specialists and support staff
- Develop and implement departmental strategic plans aligned with institutional goals
- Lead tumor board discussions and treatment protocol standardization
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient outcome analytics
- Secure research funding and oversee IRB-approved clinical trials
- Mentor junior physicians and advance professional development programs
- Represent oncology division in hospital executive committees
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree with board certification in Medical Oncology
- Minimum 8 years clinical oncology experience with 3+ in leadership
- Active Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Proven track record in clinical trial design and publication
- FACOG or FASCO preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in value-based care models
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong financial acumen in departmental budget management
