Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and quality improvement initiatives across departmental units
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols aligned with JCAHO standards
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety and care coordination
- Drive strategic planning for service line expansion and program development
- Mentor and evaluate physician and advanced practice provider performance
- Collaborate with finance to optimize resource allocation and budget management
- Represent the institution in community health outreach and stakeholder relations
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree with board certification in relevant medical specialty
- 10+ years progressive clinical leadership experience in academic healthcare
- Proven expertise in healthcare administration and quality improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication abilities for executive and public speaking engagements
- Active medical license in Massachusetts with clean disciplinary record
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or MBA preferred
