Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met efficiently and effectively.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and company policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics departments to optimize workflow and resolve issues.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Manage inventory levels and material flow to prevent production delays and optimize resource utilization.
- Prepare detailed production reports and communicate operational status to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven track record of achieving production targets and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and quality, with a thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations.
