Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D lifecycles, from initial conceptualization to prototype validation.
- Design and conduct sophisticated experiments to test material properties and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate theoretical models into scalable solutions.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, optimize processes, and document research outcomes.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence and safety.
- Prepare technical reports, patent applications, and white papers for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in industrial R&D or advanced academic research.
- Proven track record of innovation with peer-reviewed publications or patents.
- Expertise in analytical instrumentation (e.g., SEM, XRD, NMR, or similar technologies).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical roadblocks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to non-technical partners.
